This position will report to the Unit Manager, and responsibilities will include producing ultrasonic images and participating in special studies under the clinical direction of a Radiologist while taking responsibility for image quality, patient care, safety, sterile technique and providing education for staff and students. The Sonographer IV participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations and in the ultrasound on-call rotation.

Education, Licensure, Experience, and Other Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school or program of Ultrasonography or Radiologic Technology with on-the job training to meet qualifications
  • Current ARRT registration with up to date continuing education credits or registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers with up to date continuing education credits
  • Registration in three (3) ultrasound sub-specialties or registered in two ultrasound sub-specialties
  • One (1) year of ultrasound experience

Salary Information:

  • $26.10 - $40.46/hr
  • Non-Exempt
