Summary

The Cook may prepare sandwiches and grill items for patrons. The Cook is responsible for setting up food line and salad bar, performing cleaning duties, operating cash register and maintaining associated records. The Cook may cook a wide variety of food items for patients at Nash General Hospital and Coastal Plains Hospital, and for cafeteria patrons.

Education, Licensure, Experience, and Other Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Food Handlers Certificate within 6 months of hire.
  • One (1) year of experience in food service.

Salary Information:

  • $10.68 - $15.81/hour
  • Non-Exempt
