Summary

Under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Tech II performs manual technical tasks relating to the dispensing, storing and packaging of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II performs associated record keeping and patient charging. Incumbent is trained and assigned to cart-fill duties only, pharmacy duties only, or pharmacy and admixture duties only.

Education, Licensure, Experience, and Other Requirements:

High school graduate or GED.
Certification as a Pharmacy Tech by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
1 year of preparation and dispensing of drugs in either retail or hospital setting.

Salary Information:

$13.50 - $20.25/hour
