Manager Coding

Organizes and supervises operations, accuracy, completeness and consistency of hospital ICD-10/CPT code assignment and payer DRG audits.   Responsible for management functions of Inpatient and Outpatient Coders to include selection and hiring, orientation, training, performance evaluations, corrective action and performance management. Establish a goal oriented environment with clear and concise work procedures, productivity and improvement standards.

Education, Licensure, Experience, and Other Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Health Information Management or Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management 
• Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)           
• Coding/CDI certifications preferred
• 1-3 years of ICD-10 /CPT coding experience is required
• 1 or more years of Healthcare/Medical - Supervisor experience preferred

Salary Information:

• $63,585.60 - $98,550.40 annual salary
• Exempt
