Surgical Tech II - Operating Room

The Surgical Tech II functions in scrub role and as assistant during surgical procedures. The Tech provides duties within the parameters of this assignment of responsibility, according to prescribed, delegated medical regimen and the hospital policies. The Tech must be competent to perform scrub and assistant duties in all surgical specialties. Incumbent must be able to perform duties in Instrument Processing room as needed and function as team leader of at least one specialty area.

Education, Licensure, Experience, and Other Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved program in Surgical Technology.
• BCLS Certification
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.

Salary Information:

• $15.81 - $23.39/hour
• Non-Exempt
