Summary
Organizes the Nuclear Medicine section of the Imaging Services Department. Oversees quality control, methods/procedures development, and equipment maintenance and calibration. Works indirectly with the RSO. Assists Physicist and RSO with the management and control of radioactive isotopes and regulatory requirements related to radioactive isotopes.Produces nuclear medicine images and performs related procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist. Takes responsibility for image quality, patient care, safety, sterile technique and providing education for staff and students. Participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations.
