At the direction of the Executive Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager works closely with all departments in the hospital concerning the overall Human Resources functions. Responsible for supervision of assigned staff. Areas of responsibility include administration of Nash's recruitment and employment process, wage and salary plan, benefit programs, performance appraisal programs, employee communications and employee activities. Ensures state and federal employment law compliance, Joint Commission compliance and compliance with other regulatory agencies. Participates as directed in budget planning and preparation. Ensures the integrity of the Human Resources Information System (Lawson) and the Personnel Records System (Sorian Document Imaging). Interacts with Department Managers to interpret human resources policies and procedures, discuss counseling issues or other employee relations matters and offer guidance as necessary.
